Class of 2020 Senior Year Class Officers
There are three run-off this year: VP, Secretary, and Historian. Please read through each candidate's write-up before voting on May 16th. President and Treasurer positions only have one candidate turn in a petition so there will be no run off for those positions. Please watch for an email on May 16th from Mrs. Cook with a link to vote. Good Luck to all candidates!
President
Suzan Turkkahraman
Hi, my name is Suzan Turkkahraman, and I am running to be next year’s president for the class of 2020! I’m not gonna bore you with a long paragraph about me because nobody is running against me and I don’t want to waste your time. I’ve had a lot of fun and learned a lot this year as president and I’m so excited to do it again for senior year! Make sure to read and vote for the other officers! |
Vice-President
Grace DiRienzo
have been your class Vice President for 3 years now. I have brought in new ideas and put in a lot of work to ensure that our senior year is amazing. I have come up with new fundraising ideas and came up with a lot of ideas for this years prom. This is the first year that the senior class is running their own prom and I already know what needs to be done to make sure it is even better than this year. I have put in hours of work every year I have ran. I have the experience and expertise in knowing how to get things done effectively. I know how to give out something everyone will enjoy. I have enough free time to put my focus on class office and put all my work into us having a great senior year. |
Secretary |
Alexis Jones
My name is Alexis Jones and this year I want your vote for class secretary. I was a part of the class office team last year and want a chance to represent and make decision for our class once again. I have gained experience throughout organizations over the years such as Student Council and the Phoenix Art and Literarty Magazine. Overall I know I have the skills to be organized, meticulous, and I thrive in outreach to other people, which will be key in helping make decisions throughout our senior year. |
Historian
Nicole Gross
Hello! My name is Nicole Gross and I would be honored to be the historian of the class of 2020 for my fourth and final year! I've been very involved in school, and plan to continue doing so. A few of the organizations I participate in are NHS, Marching Band, Show Choir, and Tri-M. I'm organized, friendly, and passionate about everything I do. Please vote for me to represent your class for our great senior year! Thank you! |
Treasurer
Jonah Proepper
Hello everyone! I’m Jonah Proepper and I am running to be your Class of 2020 Treasurer. The main duty of the Treasurer is to keep track of the finances for the class, which I have been able to fulfill as Class Treasurer throughout the past year. I have also been able to represent your views through my involvement in the Mini-THON Leadership Team and as Student Council President. As a class officer, I plan to help make our last year at South Western the best yet! My extensive exposure to finances, coupled with my passion to improve our class has prepared me to be your Class of 2020 Treasurer one last time. |
